Our Mission:
1. To train each student to a degree of proficiency the basic skills of locksmithing. 2. To provide individual attention to anyone who requires it so each student can get the most out of the class. 3. To guide students in a professional manner in regards to Locksmithing Ethics.
LockSmith School Inc. was established in 1972 by it’s founder Jack Gaulden, an entrepreneur who devoted his life to locksmithing and his visions of hands-on training live on today. LockSmith School Inc. is licensed and fully accredited by the State of Indiana Commission on Proprietary Education. Our courses have also been reviewed by the Independent Third Party Review Panel from Oxford, Maryland which has allowed our courses to offer Continuing Education Units.
LockSmith School Inc. is financially sound and can meet any inspection requested. The school is in possession of permits and licenses which comply with all local, city, state, and federal regulations. Such as; fire codes, building approval, sanitation regulations, and lighting approval.
LockSmith School Inc. has adapted the theory that any student that is interested in our program with the desire to learn and, who adheres to our method of instruction will never receive an unsatisfactory grade. This is accomplished by personalized attention and hands-on instruction for those individuals who do not grasp the lessons as quickly as others.
Adequate space is provided for each class. Equipment and supplies are purchased in large quantities and the appropriate tools and machines are available to each student. Manufactures product catalogs are supplied in the class workbook binder. All instructors are bonded locksmiths with years of on the job experience, and are able to cope with any problems and instruct all operations. All phases of training are equal to, or above the normal standard of Locksmiths.
Grades are given by the instructor for each lesson and recorded individually as; excellent, satisfactory, or unsatisfactory. LockSmith School Inc. requires each student to complete a minimum of 80% class time to achieve satisfactory completion.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, each student will be awarded C.E.U.’s and will receive a Certificate of Proficiency from LockSmith School Inc., endorsed by the school's Chief Administrator and stamped with the school's Official Corporate Seal. Students may enter the the field of locksmithing at entry level as, Registered Locksmith (RL).
